Almost moving day...

Yep, finally!
Tomorrow I'm moving into my new apartment!

A big buh-bye to the suburbs and judgmental building managers!

I was happy to find that underneath my stove was not the toxic mess I expected, and the rogue band of mutant spiders apparently resided elsewhere. I was not happy to discover that all the rain had made some rather ucky sludge on my balcony that ruined my brand new mop.

Extra big bonus... my fantastic father drove out here to help me move. So we have the mini-van packed with half of my boxes all ready to go for tomorrow morning! I am also rather convinced that B.B.M. (bitchy building manager) will not be so patronizing with him around, hopefully meaning that she won't try to milk me out of my damage deposit (I have been cleaning my little butt off!).

I may be without internet for a few days, although I doubt there will be much excitement worth writing about anyways.

Now just cross your fingers that my headboard of my bed fits through my bedroom door without disassembly required. I don't feel like trying to understand that mess that is the "language-less" Ikea guide to putting their furniture together.

Yes, not only that, but IKEA are good at very silently telling you the wrong way to do it. Or you having to drill your own holes, that's another favourite...

Good luck - hope it all goes well!

Sounds like a good move so far. Hopefully, you'll get settled into your new place soon.

You should leave a little present for your BBM that won't be discoverable for some time. Good luck with the move.

Yuck! Moving! Ah well, it's so satisfying to throw away lots of things you haven't used or worn in too long to make them worth keeping.

I MUST know about the bed. Seriously. This stuff matters.

Congrats on the clean under-stove, as well!

Have fun moving! Good luck! I feel your pain, having moved twice last year.

Well, I may need to read another musing, but I don't want to burn them up too fast!

Glad for that move--funny that there's yet another move in your musings! You do that a lot, as evidenced here.
