Why I'm not worried about puddles

The autumn rain has begun and puddles are afoot.

But I'm not worried about getting my feet wet.

He told me he loved me yesterday as I turned to cross the street.

And my feet haven't touched the ground since.

Now that's a modern
Cyrano de Bergerac.

And the simplest words
inspired,
and inspired yet again
yourself--
to write this verse
of a heart feeling
a springtime sun
in the autumn rain.

Puddles be damned!

Love's cape covers you
and no night will be
not warm, or without
a soft glowing light
to veil your form
soaring to such heights

I normally arch my eyebrows when I hear sentiments of this kind.

But I think you are one of the few that would really understands what it means...

Therefore I'm happy for you too! :-)

Hooray for warm fuzzies!!!!

I didn't know they could bring forth the power of levitation.

Maybe they were lying when they said they loved me..
