Deliciously pointless

Prime example here of this whole amotivational syndrome thing I spoke of.

I have an article to read... but, dammit, my blog looked boring!
Now it's all scrumptious and such. Clearly a relevant use of my time.

(Psst... anyone know how to get the second part of my title to line up better? It won't take blank spaces and using the centering function makes it hop over too far.)

And very pretty it is too! :o)

To line your sub-heading up use a table tag - put the big heading in the top row then put the sub-heading in the next...

ok sorry so ignore my long explanation for what to do, I don't seem to see it so manybe it didn't get through anyway. What you need to do is find this in your template:

* ---( header and site name )--- */
#header-wrapper { margin: 0; padding: 0; font: normal normal 100%'Georgia','Times New Roman'; }
#header { margin: 0; height:276px; width:862; color: red; background: url('http://photos1.blogger.com/x/blogger/7156/2649/1600/189978/strawberry-head.jpg') no-repeat top center; }
#header h1 { width: 422px; font-size: 220%; padding: 100px 0px 0px 40px; text-shadow: #81A75B 2px 2px 2px; text-align: left; }
#header h1 a { text-decoration: none; color: red; }
#header h1 a:hover { color: #eee; }

and add this onto the end of it:

#header .description {
padding:5px 40px 10px;
line-height:1.5em;
}

you can adjust the px values to move the description around.

Ant: tables are so 1990s. Get with it we use CSS in the noughties ;)

That's right, boys! Compete for my affections with your computer skills ;).

Seriously, though, much thanks for the help! As you can see, my subheader is all lovely and properly aligned now!

The geek's equivalent of flexing our biceps at the gym... Painful yet amusing to watch!

Don't get me wrong I'm a complete geek but Ant is the computer boy.. frankly I'm a little disappointed by his performance ;)
I think I'll just have to start reading the RSS feed of your blog. I've had this real bad craving for strawberries for the last two days now, damn you!

Ant-Hey, I'm much more drawn to this display of masculinity.
Next I want a full scale academic debate... with fancy powerpoint ;)!
That or a karaoke-off.

Cinamec- Maybe you should give into the urge. Strawberries are full of all sorts of goodness! Put it on your next midnight shopping list...
