To Z

It's funny to know that you can go about your day, and later find out that your friend is dead.

It seems like you should somehow just know. Like the world should tell you through some series of signs that something just isn't right. I even wrote you an email after you were already gone.

I feel dirty that I was out laughing and drinking last night, while your husband was grieving. I know this is nonsensical, but I feel guilty.

I'm sorry I didn't know.

***

I want to write about all that was amazing about you, all that defined you, and how I can't figure out how someone so full of life can just be taken away one night in her sleep. But right now I just can't.

Sorry to hear about your friend. Don't beat yourself up over not knowing about what happened. I think your intentions, as a friend, are much more important.

I'm really sorry for your loss and that you didn't get to say goodbye properly. I know exactly what that is like. Let the good memories carry her on for you.

Ah, sweetie, don't feel guilty. That will only compound your grief and loss.
Do write about your friend - when you can. It will help.
Take care.

That's so terrible!

I'm really sorry that you lost someone close to you.

And don't feel guilty or ashamed of your feeling sad.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss.

I'd like to pass on a hug. Make the Duke hug you for me.

Hope you feel better.

OK, I should be in my regular form to wish you this, but this will do.

I am so sorry for your loss, Princess. I know it was a while ago, but I wish you the best and hope you have been well. I'm sure you have.

I'm sure you know who I am just by virtue of my flight path back here.

You have such a sweet tender heart. No wonder you guard it so well. You're the city girl, grad student--country girl soul to govern it all.

Peace out, friend. I do have to go pass out now. Shhh.... I'm Eric, but i'm also the wind! I had to float around and promote a bit. You'll know my poems when you see them.

And the combo ones are so very good. You'll like... I promise.

take care.

I just found this from your end of the year blog......

The great thing about life is that you don't know what each day will bring you, but the bad thing about life.....is that you don't know what each day will bring you.

I hope your 2008 brings you more great days than bad days.
